At Basso Aarhus we take our guests through a longer journey with a Social Dining experience consisting of 10 or 13 courses. If you prefer to choose separate cold and hot dishes, we recommend 3-4 dishes per person. Everything is served ready to share.

  • Basso risotto – Summer truffle – Mascarpone Kr. 148,-

    Silky risotto on Italian cream cheese, black pepper, white wine & truffle. The dish is a classic on our menu and is an absolute must try, especially as the summer truffle is in season. A symbiosis of garlic sprouts & grated summer truffle decorates the dish

  • Fresh young corn – Garlic cream – Parmesan Kr. 88,-

    Completely fresh and young corn, picked after only 40 days after flowering. Fried and brushed with garlic cream and rolled in 12 months old parmesan. Served warm with charred garlic

  • Braised pork – Sicilian lemons – Summer sauce Kr. 148,-

    Braised pork in broth & red wine fried hard. The white sommer sauce is made on the braised brine and cream and is alloyed with organic egg yolks. A “light” and airy sauce with aromatic lemon zest and parsley – perfect for the pork and the summer!

  • Homemade pasta – Ricotta – Blue poppy seedsKr. 128,-

    Al dente homemade casarecce pasta made on our own pasta machine. Served with sauce made on the juice from summer carrots & parmesan. Creamy, soft ricotta & blue poppy seeds unite the pasta dish, which is garnished with fresh, red orach
